I’ve been meditating 10 minutes a day for a few weeks now, it is amazing, now how do I deepen my practice?

“I am doing guided meditations 10 minutes every evening for a few weeks now and the results have been amazing, it’s the meditation where you focus on your breath.

I feel ready to further deepen my meditation, these are my current goals:

1. Develop the ability to better process emotions 2. Develop self love 3. Improve focus

My question is how do I deepen my meditating? Should I just do the guided meditations for longer or is there a better way? I also want to try out different types of meditation like the ones where you repeat mantras in your head or the ones that help you process emotions where you imagine the emotion going out of you with the breath, should I first focus on improving the breath focus meditation to where I can do it for 30-60 minutes or is it OK to mix different types of meditation e.g. I do one in the morning and one at night?

What’s the best way to achieve my goals?”

Unguided meditation.

Allow your thoughts and emotions to flow freely.

Pay attention to them and address what is important.

Gradually increase your meditation time.

These are some ways to deepen your meditation and achieve your goals.
