“I have anxiety and have had it my whole life.
Very recently I started working on breathing exercises and finding ways to calm my nervous system, and meditation has made its way into what I do. I love meditating now each evening before getting ready for bed.
It’s only been 2 weeks now but I find that right after I finish meditating I feel so peaceful, it almost doesn’t feel real because I’m so accustomed to feeling tightly wound and a bit on edge. I think I’m a sensitive person, so I imagine I feel this really intensely maybe more than the average person.
Is it normal to have this kind of big change before and after starting meditation?

I’m inclined to say the answer is yes and I need to trust the process. Just seems so genuinely strange to me that it’s hard to believe!”
It is real.
You can expect to feel calmer, feel healthier and feel clearer with meditation.
At the beginning these may be strong feelings as they are new.
