“I sometimes find it hard to sit still through guided meditations.
Sometimes the guidance and music is distracting and my mind wants to think about something but keeps getting interrupted.
Sometimes I can’t make it to the end and feel bad about that.
Can I just meditate in silence? Does this count as meditating?
Yes.
Sitting in silence is a way to meditate.
Meditating in silence allows your thoughts to flow freely and makes it easy for you to observe them.
There is no time requirement for meditation.
When you feel that you are finished meditating you stop.
