“Hi, a friend got me into meditating by building a daily habit and getting motivated for daily things.
Her technique is pretty simple.
Get on the balcony or in front of the window at 9 or 10PM, set a 10 mins timer, focus on breathing and that’s it (all while being in shorts and t-shirt, to feel cool).
She also said to write down my thoughts whilst doing this, which I didn’t, should I?
What do you think of this technique and how do you think it could be improved?
It feels really good and increases my mood overall, while freeing me of all my daily stress.
As I’m new, I don’t really know where to start either, so any tips regarding meditation would be useful!
Thanks”
Building a daily habit is great.
You can try meditating at different times of the day and try different durations.
Writing down your thoughts can help process and organize them.
Meditation is a journey.
Keep going if this is working for you and feel free to change things as you progress.
