How do I stay consistent with meditation?

“I recently discovered meditation and meditated for around 15 days straight (20 mins x2 every day), I started noticing benefits and everything was going really well.

Then I started a new job full time and haven’t had the chance to meditate at all this week because I don’t have time in the morning (always in a big rush) and in the evening I’m way too tired from working all day). I noticed the difference in how I feel because I’m starting to overthink and feel stressed again.

How do I fit meditation in my busy days?”

Consistency.

Build meditation into your day as something that you just do.

Like sleeping and brushing your teeth for example.

Reduce your meditation time to suit your schedule.

Try meditating 3 minutes in the morning when you wake up and 3 minutes in the evening before you sleep.

Do this daily for a few weeks to build a meditation habit.

After you have settled in to your new job and schedule you can progress your meditation by gradually increasing the time as your schedule allows.
