How can I gain more motivation to meditate?

“So I started meditating about 3 months ago and it has really made my life change for the better.

I have seen improvements in my general wellbeing and I’ve started to have a better overall look on life.

However, recently I’ve been less motivated to get my daily meditation done.

I have been skipping days (sometimes) and I’ve been meditating for less and less amounts of time each day.

I want to do it more because of the positive impacts it has shown, but I never actually just do it.

Does you have any advice on how to overcome this lack of motivation?

Is this just part of the process?”

Meditation may have become a task that you feel like you have to do.

You may need to change how you meditate to enjoy meditating and to look forward to meditating.

If you are blocking out your thoughts try allowing them to flow and observe them neutrally.

Allow your unimportant thoughts to flow away and focus on your important thoughts.

Try meditating for a short time to build up your meditation habit again.

Meditate for 3 minutes on a morning after waking up and 3 minutes on an evening before sleeping.

Do this daily for a month.

Then gradually increase your meditation time to suit your schedule.
