I have a meditation sleep question

“I notice that every time that I try to meditate more than 5 minutes I literally sleep while meditating, and after that quick nap I can continue meditating.

Why this happens?”

You need more sleep.

Your mind will automatically sleep whenever you close your eyes and relax if it’s not getting enough sleep.

You need a certain amount of sleep every night.

The exact amount varies from person to person and is unique to you so it’s not possible to give you a specific amount of time to sleep for every day.

If you wake up naturally every day without an alarm you are probably getting enough sleep.

If you get woken up by an alarm or something else every day you are not getting enough sleep.

Try going to bed earlier and after a week see if there is a change to your meditation.
