“I’ve tried mindfulness mediation twice (5-10 minutes), followed all sorts of popular guides, mainly focusing on breathing and letting thoughts flow by, and never noticed any real benefits from it.
I’ve also spent days and hours reading online and still don’t understand the purpose of meditation.
All the claims online are INCREDIBLY VAGUE and ABSTRACT.
Could you please very clearly map out what the benefits of meditation are, for example:
- you will experience a, b, c changes
- these changes will be a result of of x, y, z things that meditation does
- and this will lead to 1, 2, 3 benefits in your life
I want to give meditating a shot again because people rave about it’s benefits but despite how much research I do, and how much I’m looking to sell myself on it, I have yet to come across anything clear and convincing.”
You will experience:
- Calmer: Less stress, deeply relaxed, natural confidence
- Healthier: Increased immunity, more energy, better sleep
- Clearer: Sharper focus, improved memory, wiser decisions
These changes are a result of:
- Giving your brain time and space to process and link together all the information that it takes in
- Preventing your stress system from being activated
This will lead to these benefits in your life:
- Being in control of emotions and feeling good about them
- Feeling naturally calm, relaxed and confident
- A better understanding of yourself with improved romantic, personal and professional relationships
- Being well rested with a strong immune system and loads more energy
- Falling asleep easier and waking up naturally feeling refreshed and ready
- Discover who you are
- Consistently make good decisions, get things done faster and have more time to enjoy doing what you want to do
Meditate for 3 minutes, 2 times a day for 1 month.
When meditating allow your thoughts to flow and focus on your important thoughts.
Try this and see where you are in 1 month, if you feel like it you can then gradually increase your meditation time as you progress.
