“I have never meditated before this.
I realized that I always try to control my breath instead of focusing on it.
Which may be wrong?
I don’t know.
Are there any tips I can use to meditate without altering my rhythm of breathing?”
Practice breathing without meditating.
When you meditate you will be comfortable with how to breathe and this will no longer be your focus.
Breathe through your nose keeping your mouth shut.
Breathe deeply using your abdomen.
Breathe slowly at a speed that feels natural and comfortable.
Practice breathing like this.
When you are comfortable with your breathing it will no longer be your focus when you meditate.
Your mind is then free to focus on your thoughts and emotions when you meditate.
