Help with shutting off brain to meditate

“I really need advice on how I can get my brain to find any distraction it can when I try and meditate.

I feel like I am spending so much time observing my brains thoughts and letting them go just for another to pop up within less than a minute that I’m not getting to relax my body and my being.

Whether I do guided meditation or not this is always the case.

Any suggestions?”

Keep meditating.

You may have a backlog of thoughts and ideas that need your attention.

Once all these have been addressed your mind will be calmer.

Have a look at your life and see if there are ways that you can make things simpler and easier.

Doing this reduces the work that your brain has to do and frees up your brain.
