“I find it challenging to stay disciplined with meditating every day.
To be fair, I have a hard time staying disciplined with a lot of things!
I tend to go all in to the extreme and then burn out.
So, yeah, it’s a pattern, I get it.
But just wondering how I can stay dedicated to doing meditation on regular basis without feeling guilt for not doing it?”
Allow meditation to be part of your daily routine.
Making your bed, brushing your teeth, having a shower and eating meals are all examples of daily habits that we just do because we need to.
If you allow meditation to be a normal part of your day then you will always meditate.
It takes around a month of doing something for it to become natural to you and your life.
Meditating on a morning when you wake up and on an evening before you sleep are times that are easy to fit in with your current daily schedule.
If a reminder helps, you can set a daily alarm on your phone for the best time for you to meditate with a peaceful alarm sound and call the alarm “Meditate”.
Meditate daily for a month and meditation becomes natural to you and your normal daily life.
